Precious Memories

Today it hit me that I only have 3 more days working at HFBC. While I feel very excited to embark on a new adventure and challenge in Brazil, I looked into eyes of co-workers who repeated back to me "three days?" and I felt my nose start to burn. I am SO thankful for so many precious memories...

• Decorating for Christmas Programs w/my bestfriend, roommate, co-worker Amy.
• Tuesday Night's with Beth, Lisa P. and 3000 crazy women who'll trampel you if you get in between them and the front row seat they've been in line for 3 hours to secure...Patriarchs, Proverbs, Psalms of Ascent, Esther
• Wednesday night praise team rehearsals with Roj leading a room full of earnest God worshippers. A man who's giftedness boasts of God's goodness.
• Bowling Lunches, w/Chik-fil-a delivered, and prego pictures we'd like to forget!
• "First Place" health program where the "biggest staff loser" worked her weight off with salsa dancing every night!
• Music/Worship Staff Meetings where we read God's word and pray together. (sniff sniff)
• Daily Specials in the Garden Cafe...Tortilla/Lime Crusted Tilapia is my fave!
• Free rap sampler CD's from Lee in the Bookstore...until Malcolm started getting them.
• Quick trips to the Pastor's Suite for the Jelly Belly flavor of the day.
• What pranks?
• Ton's of prayers offered on my Dad and family's behalf after his scary cancer diagnosis.
• 12 hour days building houses in New Orleans with fellow singers and instrumentalists of HFBC.
• Annointed sermons, inspiring stage elements and lighting, and depth of song lyrics ministered so specifically at intense times of sorrow or joy!
• Great friends. Great conversations. Many parties with abounding treats!
• "Arts for His Glory" auction and exhibit of members art of all levels.
• The time my male co-workers asked me which dessert I'd like to take back to the office since we were all stuffed but wanted something sweet later on...only to walk in as they finished the last bites at a meeting I was not invited to! I was ticked!...but now it makes me laugh.
• Simply learning from Tom Mosley in the day to day.
• Hugs from facilities friends!
• Joan's hidden chocolate basket, and faithful love. Prayer times w/Nika. Good music from Thomas & Micah's office. Laughs compliments of Roj.
• Making up to 6 or 7 pots of coffee a day, and washing something like 5,000 mugs. :-)
• Scavenger hunt at Dave and Busters. HFBC Astros Night.
• and sweet daily interactions with all of my precious co-workers in various departments!

I really could go on and on. God has blessed me richly. It is my life's goal to bring Him praise!
